While I am at it, I have a question. Is there free wifi available around Lot 33? Going to be doing the RV thing for Dad's Weekend and just wondering if I can link up the Roku sticks to free wifi versus learning how to set up the phones as wifi point or whatever that process is. Anyone know?

I guessed -3, but I figured we would be the underdogs.
We never match up with xxxx. They're not scoring much. It's hard to believe they won't figure it out, but they're going against our defense.
And DeVito may see the toughest defense he'll see all year.
Ferentz is going against a trash coach, so we'll see what happens.

The ticket situation on the website looks to only have a couple of wide open sections. Tickets seem to be $75 a pop regardless of where you sit (excluding the clubs), which may be hindering sales.

Yeah I can’t see paying for the cheapest ticket being $75 each. Just bad bad marketing jacking them up so much now. Get the seats filled with those cheap tickets and then Jack them up next year. Gotta get people there and packed first. Terrible marketing.

Let's take stock of what's happening right now.

Thinking that the team would suck and Iowa would travel well, Guenther Jr. jacks up the price of tickets for the Iowa game to $75 to gouge stupid Iowans. Ok so far.

Oh, but wait! The Illini actually look competent and the Iowans look like crap! Hey, the Illini have a chance to win! Actual Illini fans may actually want to attend the game!

Problem is that Illini fans have had their balls kicked in too many times in these scenarios and don't want to pay $75 plus parking, plus waiting an hour to get in the game, plus waiting an hour to get a warm beer or a cold hot dog,  to sit in the balcony in an endzone.

Instead of being creative, reacting smartly, etc. by lowering ticket prices or offering BOGO half price, etc. for 2 games, whatever, Guenther Jr. starts relying in corporate sponsors and alums to buy tickets to give away.and they still are not selling out.

Just another DIA shitshow under our POS AD. Hopefully he wins his pregame jog.

100 percent agree. Get butts in the seats. Best way to do that is just offer super cheap seats for this game. Give some away to some local high schools. You don't lose money giving away tickets because you still get revenue from concessions and parking. This is a very very important game.

Whatever it takes. This isn't rocket science.

I was there for evening Ron Turner MI Fumble Game Leading to Replay, there was a Zook/Juice era evening game against MI (of course the shithead behind me got pissed at me for giving Lloyd Carr "the finger"), the Lou Tepper Penn State Kerry Collins debacle game and all were rowdy as all hell. (I actually feared for some peoples lives at the Fumble Game as people were completely shitfaced when the time the game started and were completely pissed at the end of the game, for obvious reasons.) Get a full house for this game and Memorial Stadium could be rocking like back in the 80's Belong to the Illini era.
