Don’t look now, but Josh Allen has been pretty trashy lately. Not to say Allen isn’t exceptional, but all quarterbacks miss plays/make mistakes. Fields still barely has 20 starts under his belt. And he’s made pretty significant strides the past few weeks. Yes, there’s a ways to go.

The body of work has established that Getsy is over his head but Eberlose (whose defenses keep giving up over 30 points a game, who has lost a record 8 home games in a row, and who ran a country club preseason...KULTURE!) and the shitty passing QB who consistently refuses to throw to wide open guys downfield are "works in progress."

You really cannot make this stuff up.

Again, it’s pretty hilarious that you hold last year against him. A year in which they unloaded their 3 best defensive players in order to build for the future. You’ll never ever understand that they literally weren’t making a serious effort to win.

What have you seen that calls on you to defend Eberlose? Well, besides the post game handshake with Belichick. His defense has sucked ass. Guys don't bother to go to practice. Players bitching. Soft preseason games. Country club offseason. WTF have you seen that makes you think he is not the defensive Mark Tressman? Seriously. This guy never should have been hired.

Minus last week I saw a team that played disciplined and hard. And sometimes played over their heads. They literally had one good player on defense the entire season. Jaylon Johnson. Lack of talent and depth ultimately took a toll, but I thought he did ok considering he had very very little to work with.

You are the most what have you done for me lately narrowly myopic person I have ever seen. It was one bad game. And honestly, minus 3rd down they weren’t that bad. Despite still not having a legitimate pass rush. If we see the defense look like that a few more times the next month, we’ll know we have a real problem.

So I looked it up. The Bears gave up 329 total yards. 237 passing and 92 rushing. Gave up 15 first downs. Bears had 22 believe it or not. Very respectable numbers.

Where they sucked was no consistent pass rush, were atrocious on 3rd down, and created no turnovers. Clean up 3rd downs, get a turnover, and get a little more heat on the QB and they’d be doing great.
