Yeah...what do have to fear?  I thought the courts made bribery acceptable free speech.  I have a feeling the CEOs will be just fine in the end.  Time to raise the bribes for the other team. 

On the other hand, Bezos should be put in prison purely on the basis of Melania.

I’ve still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the HQ2 mission. I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do. I am glad we agree. That was on the company, not inspectors. Compliance with food safety protocols doesn't depend on micromanagement by the FDA etc. it's the threat of inspections that keeps the private sector on their toes. Avoidance of getting caught leads to voluntary compliance.

Government officials said their conduct, or lack of it, played no role. We are supposed to believe them!

The FOIA'd inspection reports are same day, every other day, every several day reports that show repeated violations, verbal notifications and write-ups. That appeared to be the extent of what the inspector's did.
