The assignment of those details is routine. You act like it was significant that Durbin didn't reject her. If he had a reason to oppose, he wouldn't have approved. It's not rocket surgery.

She got the job..

If you want to attach any ill intent, or lack thereof, on the part of her being given the job that's up to you.
She wasn't given a position by the Senate Judiciary majority. That's for sure.
