I honestly have not figured out what triggers it. *knock on wood* haven't had a flare up for a while.

Every time I have had it flare, I haven't been able to explain it. No major changes in diet, no lifestyle change, nothing. Idk.

The allopurinol seems to help I guess. I really dk. All I know is when it's at its worst, it's fucking awful. Like, worse than anything.

My wife's nephew (which I guess is technically also my nephew), who I hate and is a piece of shit, had a big one. I don't remember how big, but it was just big enough that it was right on the line for doing surgery or passing it.

He was in so much pain, and I was actually happy about it. I had to keep it to myself tho. I was praying he had to push the thing out.

They ended up doing surgery. I was like, damn.

Anyway, sometimes kidney stones are a good thing.
