America should be the priority
Rather than sending our tax dollars (and borrowed funds) to other countries, just think how great this country would be if we spent these trillions here at home. We could have the entire democrat wish list, free healthcare, free college, plenty of public works projects, energy dependence you name it... but instead we flush our money and our future down the toilet by sending our money overseas to corrupt shithole countries instead.
Riddle me this one. Had we not joined WW2 and Europe is currently Greater Nazistan - does that make our country better or worse off? France is a corrupt shithole country?
Our wars have mostly been strategic. Not sure this includes Vietnam. South Korea is a huge customer of US goods and a key trading partner producing a lot of goods that we would not be able to produce ourselves. I'm not super sold on either Iraq war but in the end, it has allowed us to have a lot of strategic control over massive oil reserves.
Ukraine has enormous strategic implications. They produce 10% of the world's wheat crop, 15% of corn, 13% of barley. A large amount of that crop is exported to actual shithole countries that happen to control the largest reserves of rare earth minerals that are crucial for the ongoing party that is the "Magnificent 7" stocks. Put those crops into Putin's hands and it's trouble. This before we get into him cutting John Deere off from 15% of the world's market for farm equipment.
There is a reason there are a lot of major conflicts that we DON'T get involved in. Our interventions are not from the goodness of our hearts, they are all based on ROI.
