From the Bill of Rights:
9. "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
10. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
This has always meant that the Bill of Rights is not exhaustive. There are unenumerated rights retained by the people.
According the radical right, it means rights not enumerated should be returned to the States so the People's representatives can vote on them.
This is bad enough Their reinterpretation of Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 and
Article II, Section 1, Clause 2 is potentially worse.
