Federal appeals court Judges Joseph Bianco of the Second Circuit and Andrew Brasher of the Eleventh Circuit, both Trump appointees, had each previously sentenced defendants convicted of possessing child pornography to prison terms well below federal guidelines at the time they were confirmed with Hawley's support, an ABC review of court records found.

What pisses me off is none of us actually know Wesley Hawkins. Hawley never met him. Anyone who takes a minute to investigate finds out people convicted with simple possession of child porn never get the guideline sentence. Some don't do any time.

Hawley et al are holier than thou hypocrites trying to score political points. They think you are too stupid or too lazy or too busy or too apathetic to fact check them.

A closed mind gathers no facts.

Mn says if you don't think Wesley Hawkins got off easy; then you support abuse of 9 yr old boys / side with pedos.

Judy says there is no difference between sexually abusing children, producing child porn, and possessing child porn.

As an AG, Hawley cut a deal with a sheriff who sexually abused and choked an ex. The sex criminal had to resign,  got a suspended sentence and probation.

I have to review these sentencing guidelines. They are not mandatory.

There is a difference between whataboutism and using an analogy to explain something. Hawley is trying to lump all sex crimes together, to score political points, and you fell for it.
