It’s going to be interesting to see what the 49ers do at QB. I would imagine they have a competition between Lance and Purdy.

A lot of publicity surrounding Lamar Jackson right now. I love Lamar, but honestly, I don’t think he’s done anything lately to deserve 200-250 million guaranteed (and cost 2 #1s). I don’t like the way he left Baltimore high and dry in the playoffs (when it sounds like he could have played). The cold hard truth is Lamar has been hurt a lot and regressed since his MVP year.

If Daniel Jones can get what he got, Lamar is worth every penny of that.

I just looked it up and was surprised to find that Lamar has only eclipsed 3,000 yards passing once, and didn’t do it by a lot. Even in his MVP year. Good quarterback, but I would not break the bank for him. Just because Cleveland did something stupid doesn’t mean it should be the new norm. I would not give Lamar 200 million guaranteed and pay two 1st rounders to do it. And I’ve always liked him.

Was concerned that he left the Ravens high and dry in the playoffs when it seems he could have played.

He was busy rushing the ball in addition to passing it. Seems really odd you don't factor that in.

I wouldn’t either honestly, but he definitely earned/deserves it for what he’s accomplished compared to others. And the current NFL will dictate that.
