Well he played two apparently pretty decent games in the regular season his rookie year. He could have been playing with scrubs in preseason, who knows?

What I do know is that it’s worthless to put much stock into the preseason. The 85 Bears were 1-3 in the preseason.

If you read that link he was with the 1st team receivers.

I am not talking about the team. I am talking about the QB preseason. If you cannot handle a vanilla preseason D, odds are you will have a tough time once the real games start.

Purdy literally plays with 3 of the top game breakers in the league. Arguably #1 RB (when healthy), also in conversation for best receiving back of all-time. For my money Deebo Samuel is the most explosive and versatile WR in the league. Throw it to him at the line of scrimmage and he will do the rest. Kittle is only surpassed by Travis Kelce as a receiver. And when it comes to catch and run ability, he’s probably on par. Aiyuk is a very talented WR. Overshadowed by those around him, but he is a stud. Juszcyk is the best in the NFL at what he does. Great blocker, excellent receiving threat out of the backfield. He requires attention when on the field.

Fields has none of these luxuries. Mooney would be the distant #3 in SF.

If the 49’ers have all that talent, then why wasn’t Garappolo an All Pro?

Because he's made of glass.

That’s part of it. He’s also of limited ability. He also didn’t have McCaffery. Kittle is hurt a lot. Until this year.

Jimmy was having a pretty solid year with a 103.0 rating until he got hurt.

Bengals are imposing their will on the Bills early. Despite missing 3 starters on OLine.

Wasn't someone here saying Buffalo would go 17-0?
I am a former 5-star general. Or maybe it was 4-star.
Nichi claims a guard with a 1.3 assist-to-TO ratio is a good passer.

I’m glad the Bengals won.  So tired of the Hamlin story.

And Tempo if Burrow was the Bears QB they’d have won 9 or 10 games, probably made the playoffs

Bills will go undefeated. Best team by far in the NFL.
