Maybe it’s because football is a game and not life. How do you expect Bills players to go back out there and have their heads in the game when someone who is like a brother to them just perhaps died on the field? It’s sociopathic to expect that.

I was triggered when NBA teams refused to play bc a felon died high on fentanyl. That triggered me.

This is less triggering but it’s roughly the same concept.

God forbid any of these guys ever serve in the military. 

Some of you people don’t live in the real world.  The real world doesn’t shut down bc a guy is taken to the hospital for a heart attack.  Now if you say “pro sports aren’t the real world”.  They certainly aren’t when they shut down a game due to this stuff. It’s nothing but “please let’s not appear insensitive”.

Do your fucking job.

If Jim, who works at Microsoft, on the accounting floor in his cubicle peels over and has a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital, his 100+ other coworkers don’t get to go home for the day.  They finish working because they are professionals.

If you watched the George Floyd tape and weren’t appalled by what happened, you are a sick individual. He was of not threat and that cop leaned on his neck for like 8-9 minutes. The Cop went to jail, which almost never happens. Especially in Minnesota. I’m not a psychologist, but I’m fairly certain you are a sociopath.

And there are situations where a business or organization decided to halt or phase down operations when an employee suffered a debilitating disease or accident in the workplace.
