I’m enjoying the demise of Aaron Rodgers.
His sycophants have to work hard this year.
My favorite Rodgers sycophancy came a few years ago when the Bears pulled off the rare win over GB. I think there were 6 or 7 minutes left, and GB was losing by 10 or 11 points. Rodgers is driving them, and I'm thinking, "Here we go again." But then the coverage figures it out. Instead of just throwing it away, Rodgers starts running around in circles, trying to make something out of nothing. TONS of time runs off the clock. One of the announcers starts questioning the plan, saying they should just kick the FG if they are going to burn so much time.
On the next play, Jimmy Graham -- playing for the Pack -- is running across the middle. The LB has pretty good coverage. Rodgers throws it anyway. It goes behind Graham, who still makes a valiant effort to catch it or simply to prevent an INT. But it goes off his hands and right to Eddie Jackson in the end zone, who then suffers a season-ending injury on the play. Packers lose.
So after the game, all the sycophants are blaming Graham and saying he cost them the game, etc. No, he didn't.
