I GOT SUCKED IN..1st half. Worked on bike while listening to 1st half (live radiostream)

Halftime went testing, came back thinking 2nd half was over.

Kick the fg to go up 4 and play calling after that could have been entirely different, but the play calling leading to 4th and goal wasn't good either.

1st and 10 at the 18 and come up empty.


Then 1st and 10 at the 35, close to fg range. No points here either because we wanted 7. A couple of running plays and maybe a fg or hope to break a run. Take some time off the clock and the Hoosiers maybe run out of time.


A few dropped passes on catchable balls and coaching decisions caused this one to slip out of our hands.
"2 bad series by Lunney and should have kicked the fg."
"All of the dropped passes and not kicking the fg put us in this situation."

You have been watching Illini football a long time. We cannot be allowed the chance to shoot ourselves in the foot because that's the only thing we consistently do well. We need to be saved from ourselves when we can.
