Some may remember the CU band Hum. They were a thing in the mid to late 90s. I always liked them.

I just learned they released a new album for the first time in like 20+ years so I checked it out.

It seems there has been relentless pressure from cult fans to continue doing live shows and to release a new album. Pretty cool for a bunch of guys that took normal jobs a couple decades ago.

I think it was on the old board but rob said Oasis was a Beatles cover band. I recently learned of Greta Van Fleet and it reminded me of that comment.

Greta Van Fleet is a shameless Zeppelin ripoff. I don’t know how they haven’t been sued into oblivion. Or why they even get radio airplay.

yeah they are in the unlistenable realm just due to sounding exactly like LZ

but new music is so awful for the most part that people will listen to anything these days
