It appears that Elijah Manley is not too happy about not winning in the 2026 Democrat primary for the U.S. House.
Vote early, you never know what might happen.
Manley was arrested on October 16–17, 2026, in Broward County on two second-degree felony counts of written/electronic threats to kill or injure. He turned himself in on a warrant related to Facebook posts from around August 20–21, 2026 (shortly after his primary loss).

According to the arrest affidavit, the posts (from an account linked to him) included statements supporting Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Angie Nixon (running against Republican Sen. Ashley Moody) and threatening violence against those who would not support her, such as promising to “cut your f—— head off,” burn others’ “castle to the ground,” and make their lives “a living hell.” He has called the charges a First Amendment issue.

He was released on $40,000 bond with conditions including no weapons, no contact with alleged victims, and restrictions on social media posting. The Broward State Attorney’s Office recused itself (citing connections of the listed victims to charitable drives) and requested reassignment by the governor. As of the latest reports (around October 20, 2026), he had not yet entered a plea.
