Ballot harvesting is a perjorative term for ballot collection by third party volunteers. Generally, legal ballot collection by post office,  election officials, or family members is fairly common..

Banning ballot harvesting hurts low income communities that rely on volunteers to run elections.

The only known case of significant ballot collection fraud involved a Republican in NC.
You're going with ballot harvesting is uniquely American because we're the only country in the  world that has a concern with the votes of low income communities that rely on volunteers to run elections ?

Maybe he assumed he was a citizen?

Does not sound like that he assumed that from the article.

Again, since the cheating Trumpers are doing it that may be a good reason to stop it.

Make it harder for poor, elderly, and disabled to vote because Republicans cheat?

Precisely.  Pure of motive?  I think not.

In most normal countries they don't put 15 polling places in rural counties and 1 in Houston.

The article is ambiguous on that point

I am going with third party collection is appropriate in low income communities that rely on volunteers to run elections. Perhaps those conditions are uniquely American?

You seem to think we should run our elections the same way as other countries. How about education, healthcare, and public transportation?

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

How anyone takes Kash Patel seriously is a mystery. No doubt Mn adores him.
