I always leaned toward Epstein killed himself, but I have some serious doubts these days.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Probably true. Who do you think killed him?

Who else? Trump. He ran the prisons at the time.

The question was specifically for Custard.

This is gonna wreak havoc on PAMan’s “Bezos is just trying to keep the Post solvent” take.

Former Chicago newsbabe Joan Esposito says Bezos has had offers for the Post but refused to sell. Here, reporters (some who worked for The Post) say Bezos destroyed it to curry favor with Trump.

“Having initially declared that "the duty of the paper is to the readers, not the owners," Bezos, whose Blue Origin company has federal contracts, is actively trying to repair his once-strained relationship with President Donald Trump. Amazon donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration.”

“ For Bezos, this was basically spare change. Peter Baker, a Post alumnus who is now chief White House correspondent at the Times and an MS NOW analyst, reports that Bezos’ net worth is up $224 billion since buying the Washington paper.”

By the way, the “spare change” comment was about this passage.

“Bezos proposed to Sanchez on his 417-foot yacht, and they were married last spring in Venice, an extravaganza attended by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gayle King, Tom Brady and Kim Kardashian. The price tag for the multiday celebrations was somewhere between $20 million and $50 million.”

Nope, he gave an answer just about as ridiculous as I expected.

Then why destroy the sports section? Has zero to do with Trump. He obviously wants to keep it as a vanity project - which is why he bought it in the first place. He just does not want to keep paying $100m annual losses. It may be spare change, but he obviously does not want to spend it on the Post.

Sounds like he would rather spend his money on crap like that than $100m annually on Post losses OR to change the paper back to what it was before.  His money. His paper. Our state. Our team.

LOL. Yes, he destroyed the sports section to appease Trump.....somehow that makes sense. Why isn't Emilio Azcárraga Milmo still paying for the annual losses for the National Sports Daily???? He wanted to appease Trump as early as 1991!
