Perfectly said. This problem is rampant at HQ, and not just in regards to politics!

Saw an interesting take last night. That Marjorie Taylor Greene is actually one of the best Republicans out there, because she says what she believes. And while her beliefs may be crafted poorly at one moment, she might learn something, her beliefs will change, and she'll say something else.
Whereas someone like JD Vance or Rubio can't be "convinced" to "change their mind", because they don't believe the shit they are saying anyway. Whatever they say is purely in order to get some personal desired result.
So say, Greene wants the Epstein files released because she doesn't like pedophiles, and she thinks that if there may be evidence in there against pedophiles, we should see it. Whereas Vance or Rubio may want them released or not released based on what that means for their career - which means basically "what Trump said most recently".
It was a real interesting dissection of Greene - that basically she was just basically this fairly well off woman who was CFO of her Dad's company, and all of her knowledge of issues came from well, Facebook. real news, fake news, whatever, it wasn't a well curated set of data, it was just whatever the algorithm served up. And she got fired up, ran for Congress, and won. And now basically Trump getting against releasing the files and Republicans pushing back on health care subsidies that people she's exposed to on a daily basis is "bad", she's having a crisis of faith.
