This is so backwards. China is selling us hard assets, mostly raw materials, at low margin. We are selling them things like GPUs, which while great today, depreciate very fast as soon as the next version comes out, and they are paying dearly for them.

That sums up to a transfer of wealth *to* the US, not the other way around. It's a great deal to trade them dollars for rare earth minerals, steel, etc.. for under market value.
