The point is ICE dragged a half dressed woman and her 3 children out of the house late at night in the rain. ICE ransacked the house. They stole cash, cameras, etc from the family.
The various documents show the family rented the house from the pending new owner, not the suspect named in the warrant.
Arguing about when the new owner technically assumed ownership or what price they paid is just a diversion.
ICE needs to apologize and give those people their money and personal property back.
Did they come in with guns drawn and CNN camera crews on hand ?
There was a search done on a house suspected to be a place of trafficking. They had no idea who was in the house. Anyone was suspect.
County records showing the property transfer were posted after the search occured. Utility bills apparently were paid by the previous owner.
Your statement: "The various documents show the family rented the house from the pending new owner, not the suspect named in the warrant."
Does this refer to the Facebook post ? A post from a couple of weeks before the "pending new owner" bought the house ?
There's more to the story about the house that was bought 2 years prior for $300,000, had a market value of over $300,000, and sold for $150,000 within a month of listing.
