The hordes of people of color flooding the justice system will be relieved to know that escaping racism is a right, and not a privilege.

Will flooding the justice system with hordes of white people make them feel better?

Wanting America to be better is not America-hating, it’s patriotism.

No, ending racial discrimination would. Meaning treat them as white peopke get treated. That doesn’t happen.

I think rather than denying white people their due process privileges; we should stop denying PoC their due process rights. I have heard DEI training for police officers is fairly effective.

There are also Buddhist meditation rituals that are effective in cultivating awareness and empathy.

Finally we agree. So instead alienating white people by telling them their privilege is the problem; develop strategies to treat minorities fairly.

Ask Philando Castile’s family if they knew that “escaping racism is a right.”

Oh, so now it’s about white peoples’ feelsies. Talk about white privilege.

Getting white people to understand how they are privileged is perhaps the biggest hurdle to treating minorities fairly.

So white people need a safe space from the realities of their generational and institutional racism now? Sounds about right.

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right?

Getting white people to understand their privilege is perhaps the biggest hurdle to treating minorities fairly.

Please explain why? You want to somehow convince white people that their due process protection is a privilege, not a right. And this is the key to end the denial of minorities' due process rights. That is what some derisively call liberal logic.

Yes, and liberals have a problem they refuse to admit.

No, that is so far from any point I have made you can't possibly be paying attention. Try to keep up.

Again, all of this makes for good discussion in a political theory 210 course. Parse words all you want. Being white in America (and most countries) affords you more opportunity and more protection from the law. I’ve never heard of police racial profiling white people.

You literally just made the case that protecting white peoples’ feeling is a priority. How about hitting them with the hard truths and helping them to see how they have had it better than POC? Racism isn’t just a black people problem, it’s an everyone problem.
