Pointing out that you keep misusing the term “white privilege“ is not an indication of my indifference to people who experience racism or discrimination. Nichi has it exactly right.

I just gave you the literal definition of privilege. White people largely escape racism because of their ethnicity. It’s the literal definition of “white privilege.” There’s no way you guys are this dumb.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

George Floyd essentially got murdered for trying to pass off a $20 bill. The kid who shot up a movie theater got treated to Burger King.

Escaping racism is a right, not a privilege.

Getting a no show job is a privilege, but no longer the exclusive domain of the white old boys club.

Not all white people enjoy the privileges of a DJT or Tucker Carlson.

Meanwhile, racial profiling happens. Blaming it on white privilege distracts from the very real problem..

Your answer seems to be to treat everyone the way George Floyd was treated, since fair treatment is a white privilege, not a human right.

That’s Utopian Libertarian bullshit. And meaningless at the end of the day. Racism is real life.

What would you call white privilege then?

Because of course....

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/01/30/faa-dei-trump-fact-checker/

Trump launched air controller diversity program that he now decries

At news conference, Trump read a list of disabilities he calls disqualifying, but his administration started such hiring in 2019

Thanks Progressives and Bernie Bros for electing Trump!

I can't open the WaPo article. What does Glenn have to say ?

A couple of college trained (CTI) applicants were turned down for Air Traffic Control (ATC) positions under the Obama administration.
The Native American failed the Biological Questionnaire. Lofl.
Footnote 3 tries to explain a point system.
Did Trump go back to a merit program ?

If you buy that BS; then the solution becomes taking those implicit advantages away from whites instead of extending them to PoC.

Again, you’re spouting off theory. I’m talking about reality. Sure, in a better world escaping racism would be a right. It’s a right not extended to many people of color. Therefore, it becomes a privilege to people like me.  This is a tomayto v tomato conversation. Any way you slice it, white peoples get better treatment in society than people of color. Make of that what you will.

No. You’re talking pure theory here. Pointless.

That’s Utopian Libertarian bullshit. And meaningless at the end of the day. Racism is real life.

You don't fix it by blaming white people for not being victims of racism.

The mere fact that you’re able to discuss it from that angle implies your privilege. Ask a black person if they agree with you. I’d bet the overwhelming majority wouldn’t. They live in the real world. Where racism isn’t theoretical.
