But don’t piss on my back and tell me it’s raining.

Don't you pay extra for that?

Pretty standard conservative Americanized version.

You voted to deport Jesus!

They landed here in 1620.

And 400 years later they still can’t stop seeing witches everywhere.

As it should be. Elective abortion of a healthy viable pregnancy formed between two consenting adults should never be destigmatized. The mental gymnastics done by abortion proponents to form the notion that a healthy unborn baby is somehow not a human life might even surpass the insanity of gender ideology. Are there legitimate reasons to seek an abortion? Of course. But don’t piss on my back and tell me it’s raining.

You vote and cheerlead the deportation of people (fellow Christians even!) seeking a better life for them and their families and call yourself a Christian. Don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining!
Wanting America to be better is not America-hating, it’s patriotism.

They're mostly found in public bathrooms nowadays.

I figure the doctrinal foundation of Christian Nationalism consists of  1 deadly sin and 5 bible passages..

Nah, I think RFKJ’s heart is in the right place but I can’t stand to listen to him speak. I don’t know who I’d want at this point. Hopefully someone good emerges in the next four years.
RFK Jr is suggesting addressing obesity and diabetes with a policy of health.
The Biden administration wanted drug coverage policy to include Ozempic.
One policy benefits individuals, from kids to adults. The other benefits Big Pharma.

I voted to uphold the laws of the land as it pertains to entry, and to deport criminals and others who are here for no good. Which is 100% OK per the Bible.

Is there another developed country on God’s green Earth right now that’s having this insane conversation around massive illegal immigration where so many people just want to let everyone in? There are lots of good reasons we’ve had borders and immigration policies for millennia beyond racism, religious persecution and white Christian Nationalism.

RFK, Jr. vs Dr. Oz.   I think I'll stock up on popcorn.

Plus, BIG AG, BIG FOOD PROCESSING and BIG FAST FOOD will have a BIG SAY on anything that Kennedy proposes.

Oh, wait.  There's more:  https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/shift-rfk-jr-weight-loss-drugs-place/story?id=116740082

I can remember when Democrats were for healthy diets and working people and raged against the big corporate agenda. That has all flip flopped. 🤯

We are reaching a tipping point and there is plenty of money to be made raising and selling healthy food instead of garbage. Replace the ethanol subsidy and financially incentivize Big Food and row crop farmers to start growing healthier crops. Might as well do it now with corn and soybeans prices in the tank.

Who do you mean by we? Because our borders have been open for much of our history.

The first unlawful entry laws were circa 135 years ago. Unlawful entry was criminalized 100 years ago.

I want what you're smoking.  Who do you think President Fatass will side with?

Kennedy will be allowed to roll out a heathy eating initiative, just like previous admistrations have.  He might be able to strengthen the federal nutrition guidelines a little bit and claim victory.  The industry groups will play along, but they will make sure he's on a short leash.  I don't think he'll last more than a year in government.

These cabinet nominees are sure making all those "DEI" hires look brilliant.  Good thing that the Feds are now more merit based.  LOL

Big Food and Big Ag care about making money, often through collusion that’s swept under the rug by their lobbies. If RFKJ was taking them on from the Democrat side you’d be wetting your pants in joy. Since he defected from a prominent Dem family now you act like even trying to better things is a waste of time. Big Food and Big Ag will sell and grow whatever makes money. Make the healthy stuff more profitable for Big Ag and Big Food. Incentivize consumption of said foods through aid programs and school food programs. Just like the food lobby did with cheap unhealthy shit since the 70s.

There is no inherent value to the food industry to produce unhealthy stuff—unless you consider connections to Big Pharma; but that’s a lesson for another time. They produce unhealthy stuff because they can take super cheap commodities and add sugar and fat and bullshit and sell it for a small fortune. They’ll happily make more healthy foods if they have the financial incentive to do so.

The current system is broken but can easily be fixed. The poors you claim to care about are the ones loading up on monoculture ag products from dollar stores and discount grocery stores and leading the nation in consumption of HFCS and nutritionally valueless refined starches. And, shockingly, obesity! Usually on an EBT card!

When we quit literally subsidizing the consumption of poison, maybe we’ll see some improvement. This is actually a much easier nut to crack than healthcare. People with influence actually want to fix the food stamen.
