Custard's 2028 MAGA fever dream ticket:
JD Vance/RFK, Jr. aka Douche & Worm.

Nah, I think RFKJ’s heart is in the right place but I can’t stand to listen to him speak. I don’t know who I’d want at this point. Hopefully someone good emerges in the next four years.

It will be Trump again. He will decree the revocation of the 22nd Amendment akin to Biden and the ERA.

He can't do that unless Congresse passes an Amendment, sets deadlines, and enough states ratify the amendment to pass, it after the deadlines, but meanwhile, a few rescind ratification, also after the deadlines.

If all the above happened, and Trump announced he felt it is the law of the land at some meeting, I suspect the Trumpers would back him up..

I have three daughters, and I’m on board with the vast majority of where he seems to fall on those issues. Then again, I am a Christian and as such cannot believe in laissez faire abortions as a “human right” or even a cultural norm. While sometimes necessary, it is a pretty horrible practice, and it’s been way out of hand for a long time. I have known several women who had purely elective abortions (sometimes several) when they were young and it’s not the get out of jail free card people think it is—it comes with lifelong ramifications and regrets that people can’t comprehend at the time.

He seems to have evolved (or fallen in line with) to the idea that it belongs in the hands of the states and should have reasonable exceptions in states with bans, which is also where I’m at.

I already know what you’ll say next: Christians don’t want people to get abortions but don’t want to support or protect the children once they are born, blah blah blah. Good families are always looking to adopt, and I thought we needed workers?

Jesus, nor really the Bible say anything about abortion. But they do say plenty about accepting foreigners and refugees/“whatever you do unto the least of my brothers you do unto me,” and all that jazz.

I think you’ve been taught and accept a very warped and self-serving version of Christianity.

Are you by chance a pacifist?

Wanting America to be better is not America-hating, it’s patriotism.

His approval is soaring!

6 points higher than the beginning of his first term, 3 points higher than at any point in his first term, which is remarkable considering something in the upper 40 percentile of the country have been blue pilled into thinking he’s basically Hitler.

I think it’s a pretty standard version of Christianity. Don’t kill viable human beings, be kind and charitable to others, live with Grace. Be accountable. I’d be happy if there were no more wars and everyone lived in peace, but that’s a big ask.

Not many know that Buddhism is generally pro life. Monks or Nuns are prohibited from assisting in any with an abortion. The penalty is excommunication.

Abortion is viewed as shameful, even if medically necessary, in pretty much all Buddhist countries except Japan.

I wish you goyim would quit appropriating Jesus!

Quote
Jesus Christ’s real name was Yeshua ben Yosef, and he was born to a Jewish family, most likely in Nazareth between 6 and 4 BC. He grew up speaking primarily Aramaic, is described in the gospels as a “rabbi,” and, if a recent argument by Simcha Jacobvici and Barrie Wilson holds any water, was married to a Jewish woman.

The gospels do not portray Jesus as anything other than a Jewish man. They describe him as being circumcised, going to synagogue on the Sabbath, and to Jerusalem for the pilgrimage holidays.

If you were raised in a predominantly Christian culture this may sound extremely subversive, or even conspiratorial. I know this because I went to a Church of England school and grew up believing that Jesus Christ was a blond haired, blue-eyed Christian.

Live Updates: Control Tower Staffing Was ‘Not Normal’ During Deadly Crash, F.A.A. Report Says
An internal report suggested that the controller on duty the night of the accident was doing a job usually handled by two people. The collision between a jet and an Army helicopter killed 67 people, whose bodies were being recovered from the icy Potomac.

Other dude took the non-buy out, buy out? Thanks, President Musk and Tempo?

As it should be. Elective abortion of a healthy viable pregnancy formed between two consenting adults should never be destigmatized. The mental gymnastics done by abortion proponents to form the notion that a healthy unborn baby is somehow not a human life might even surpass the insanity of gender ideology. Are there legitimate reasons to seek an abortion? Of course. But don’t piss on my back and tell me it’s raining.
