Somehow, Asians, (non-white) succeed at the highest level despite being criminally discriminated against in favor of other POC!

Asians are criminally discriminated against, yet they succeed. So what the fuck is the matter with all these white people who fail? Why are the Asians able to overcome, yet these white fuckers can't? Maybe it's not because of DEI, maybe they just aren't very good.

Not sure when I’ve ever expressed any specific concern over DEI causing white people to fail. I am firmly against systemic discrimination on the basis of race or sex. I don’t give a shit how good the intentions are, it’s bullshit policy that directly goes against what it’s purported to solve.

If we want to solve for equality of opportunity (and we should) then maybe our system should address it much sooner than during the professional hiring process. Otherwise you’re just treating the symptom whilst leaving the disease to fester.

What about Black people from Ethiopia? Do they have the same struggles as African Americans?

What if during the Colonial and early American eras people from various Asian subcultures had been brought here in chains. Their ancient traditional religions and traditions suppressed. Kept from education. Families and clans broken up. All intermingled.

Held collectively in chattel slavery for several hundred years. Then faced Jim Crow laws another hundred. Dealt with lynching parties, widespread harassment by law enforcement, racial taunts ...

Do you think their descendants might be dealing with the same challenges?
