It will be pretty easy to verify if he ended the war in Ukraine in 24 hours.
For Zelensky, aside from "fuck giving the Russians any of our territory" as a general philosophy, if he refuses to cede territory and the war continues, then that's promise #1 in the dumper.
He will deport a few people with a big photo op but not really very many. What's wild is that his supporters will *believe* all them Mexicans are gone and say "see this didn't cause inflation" which will be true because all them Mexicans are not gone.
Tariffs? I suspect they will get watered down completely but Trump will point out that Chinese Cheese has been subjected to a 200% tariff and it worked, the Wisconsin Dairy industry has been saved from Chinese Cheese curds.
All I know is - we are days away from completing a remodel. Don't know if our subs are using any illegal labor, but that's not relevant, the presence of said labor keeps overall prices a little lower. I do know that tile and flooring are mostly imported and in the crosshairs of tariffs. Very happy to get this in under the gun.
