But we pay them and should get that assistance when needed for instances like this. Yet, we continue giving countries and institutions all over the world free money and they haven't done shit for us. So why will they receive over 160 billion in federal aid this year? Up until a few years ago California was barely a donor state and in some years was a taker state. Will be interesting to see what happens to that status now that tech has cooled.
