I can see where he’s coming from. It’s hard to generate any kind of wealth when you grow up dirt poor. It really takes a lot of hard, hard work and even then you’re still behind the 8 ball with a lot of shit.
I know dudes that are doing pretty well after coming from a bad sitch. Myself included. But it would have been a hell of a lot easier to start with something, as opposed to nothing.
If you started with Trump's inheritance, and put it in the stock market, not only would you have a lot more money than you do, you'd have more money than *Trump*
This is an Illinois board, but I guess maybe not everyone here is a UIUC graduate. If you are, you started ahead of the vast majority of the country.
Of course, not everyone does as well from the same starting point, because some people do in fact work harder than others, and do more with the advantages they are given...
