Twitter is and always has been an aggregate source rather than a single source. That’s a large part of its success. Short format news and info.

The spam and porn ads are worse, but the content itself really hasn’t changed much. Most people I see that have moved away from it or content creators who took their ball and went home are liberals who don’t like Musk’s politics and the fact it is no longer a propaganda arm for the Democrat party.
