I can't imagine that anyone would do that. Everyone will wait until the evidence is in, and accept whatever conclusions the FBI draws.

So under current rulings, a President can’t be prosecuted for crimes committed in office. And anyone appointed to investigate crimes out of office has no authority to do so? The judiciary has no oversight and they must be stopped.

Motive could be something as simple as "my name in the history books", and not a coherent motive. Anyone who would do this is 51 cards short of a full deck. You're not going to find a detailed set of writings about the long term detrimental impact of appointing Amy Coney-Barrett to the Supreme Court, and the mistaken economic policy of the Trump tax cuts.

He's just a loon. Who was able to buy a bunch of ammo and borrow one of his dad's 20 guns. Face it folks - we have a lot of loons out there, modern transportation systems, modern communication systems that make it very easy to send out disinformation that really has a bad impact on said loons. Time to round up the guns or expect that this becomes more commonplace, like school shootings.

There were a lot of good guys with guns there and it didn't matter.

The person in hiding has to be the cop who saw the shooter, and jumped off the roof when the shooter pointed a gun at him. If the shooter took out that cop, the snipers would have been alerted and took out the gunman. Guess he doesn't have the stones of Secret service detail. Neither do I, but that's why I'm a computer programmer.

I saw said video and it was a split second, just found it an interesting coincidence or occurrence

Cenk Uygur - who really is a douchebag - made a pretty solid point.

The people who saw the shooter on the roof pretty much saved Trump's life. Pointed it out to the cops, cop climbs to the roof. shooter sees the cop, and rushes his shot. If that dude is just chilling and aiming, he doesn't miss.

Either that, or he is very deliberate setting up his shot, and the snipers see him before he gets a shot off... I guess.
