Maybe the Senator from Connecticut can go on MSNBC again to discuss the tens of thousands dead since Obama named Biden his front man in Ukraine and Hunter started his new job with Burisma.

To paraphrase Tempo paraphrasing Jim Steinman, 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Even better than 1 out of 3.
Wanting America to be better is not America-hating, it’s patriotism.

If Russia wanted to be back in the international community they could try not being Aholes. Looking at you Vlad (and your oligarch pals).

Giving up on what war? The one the west and now the east are funding that’s become a focal point of global politics and WWIII by proxy? How long do we fight this stalemate proxy war? Until we are sending troops and more supplies like NK and China? How long does it stay contained to one little area? It’s time to stop it.

Russia could go home and it would be over. But I don’t see The Donald pressuring Vlad the way he’s pressuring Zelensky.
Wanting America to be better is not America-hating, it’s patriotism.

Peace in Ukraine was not to be discussed a couple of months ago. Zelensky and European leaders now say they want peace in Ukraine but that European military might must be increased before that is a possibility. But peace is in the discussions.

Trump is bringing hostages of Hamas home. Biden couldn't do it.

Trump found an alleged mastermind behind the Abbey Gate murders of 13 U.S. service members and countless innocent people. Biden had years to do it. Trump did it in weeks.

Europe is discussing strengthening their commitments to NATO rather than relying on the US to provide for their defense.

China is a larger threat to us than Russia.

The Democrats in Congress can't stand to applaud a kid with brain cancer who only wants to be a policeman. The kid has a message to share tho, "As the interview concluded, the teen noted he had “one more thing” to add, before telling cameras point blank: “If you’re a Democrat and you’re being mean to President Trump — I’m on your bumper.”
They can't stand to applaud a steelworker from Alabama, who is also a volunteer firefighter in his community, who has a family of 7 kids and has fostered 40 kids with his wife.
They can't stand to honor the family members who lost kids to illegal immigrants.
They can't stand to applaud a 95 year old woman who saw Trump bring her son home again.
They can't stand to applaud a high school kid from a military family who is given an appointment to West Point.
45 Senate Democrats voted "no" on a bill to protect women in sports. Tho many wore pink, they couldn't stand to honor a kid whose career was ended by a spike to her face. The Mn House also had a vote this week on protecting women in sports. The final Democrat tally of the 2 votes regarding an issue that 75% of the country supports was 111-0.

Al Green did stand. But it was before the introductions of regular American people.

Trump isn't mean enough to Putin.

Cynically using ordinary people as props would mean something if Musk weren't taking a chainsaw to programs that help ordinary people.

I don't know what that was all about, but it led me to this:

"From CNN’s Deidre McPhillips

An earlier version of this item incorrectly characterized as false Trump’s claim about federal money being spent for “making mice transgender.” The article has been updated with context about the spending, which was for research studies on the potential human health impacts of treatments used in gender-affirming care."

'But wait...there's more!'
https://www.factcheck.org/2025/03/factchecking-trumps-address-to-congress-2/
Re the Panama Canal. Factcheck.org states that Trump said "38,000 workers died building the Panama Canal."
Trump prefaced the comment by saying "built at tremendous cost of American blood and treasure"
If Factcheck.org wants to say that Trump said "38,000 American workers" that's their business.
The number of deaths may, or may not, have been 38000. We will never know.

"The most costly in terms of lives was the French construction of the canal, with an estimated ~22,000 deaths. The true figure will never be known as the French official statistics only included the people that died in hospitals. Yellow Fever and Malaria were rampant, and were the primary cause of the deaths in the disastrous attempt of the French."

Maybe tell us about the murder of Georgiy Gongadze?

How about the poisoning of Viktor Yushchenko with dioxin?

The criminal cases against Yulia Tymoshenko?

Maybe explain exactly how the US was responsible for Euromaidan and the Revolution of Dignity?

How the democratically elected government of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych was illegally overthrowm?

I am sure the referendum on Crimean reunification with Russia was totally legitimate?

I suppose the war in Donbas was just peace loving local ethnic Russians seeking reunification with their homeland?

China is a larger threat to us than Russia.

In one part, because they are a threat to Taiwan, and the US Economy runs through the Taiwan Semiconductor Company. 25% or so of the S&P 500 can be tied to just Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, and Nvidia, all of whom rely on the chips being produced by TSMC.

Now - we could say it would be better for national security to produce those chips domestically. The Biden Administration seems to think so, they passed the CHIPs act in order to facilitate domestic semiconductor production.

But because it's a Biden effort - Trump has asked Mike Johnson to repeal it. The primary beneficiary and the only US firm with any real semiconductor expertise is Intel, whose design business is in the shitter and has completely bottomed out their balance sheet to the point where they can't go out and build new fabs with processes that will match Apple and Nvidia's needs.
