What laptop should I be looking at for the AgressiveSon heading off to Illinois in the fall? Not a science guy.

I've had good luck with refurbished Acer laptops.  Go with a certified beer spill-proof model.

Aggressiveson is apartment bound this August. What receipts app is best for him to scan in paper, emailed, or text receipts, etc. so that I can track the expenses for 529 account purposes? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Funny i have an Alienware m17 from not joking like 12 years ago and it still runs great as a backup computer in case one of mine goes down.  Huge and heavy but whatever its got the juice to run today's software still... My wife got gifted some cheap HP and it broke after the first boot up lol

That's great. Have a receipts app I can tell the AggressiveSon to load on his phone that I can access his receipts?
