Pickens to the Bears would have made a ton of sense.

Pickens getting a ton of praise in Steelers camp. Don’t dislike Gordon and Brisker but I was hoping the Bears would draft Pickens.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Didn't watch yesterday.  How did things look besides the field turf looking like trash?

Some head scratching stuff. It’s not that I don’t like Brisker, I do. But Pickens at 48 and Nakobe Dean in the 3rd would have been a killer day.

Should have traded Quinn (and apparently Roquan) on draft day and made this happen.

Didn’t see any of it, but listened to some of it. Fields and Mooney had a nice connection on a 19 yarder, and Dominique Robinson had a great game apparently.

Hard to get excited about Bear or Illini football.

Behind the curve?

Behind the curve?

Very. At least on the Illini side of it. Hopefully the Bears put it together this offseason with all the cap space they have.
Because FOX News told me so…

If Fields continues to improve and Poles makes the right moves, the Bears could make a huge jump in the NFC next year.

We may want to see how they fare against the Cowboy D this weekend. Hopefully they do well.

Let's have a couple of decent years in a row before we may grandiose proclamations about the Illini.

So a 6-1 Illini team is “hard to get excited about?”

They should be Bowl eligible virtually every year.

They should be Bowl eligible virtually every year.

They looked poised for a good bowl, but just bowl eligible.

Yes, they looked poised as long as they don't step on their dicks.

Bears just drafted Velus Jones Jr WR. 25 years old in May. 4.31 speed but projected to be an average backup and special teamer. Seems like a reach in the 3rd.

Always trust content from the Tempo34Man.
