Looks like it was either Mayer or Nance for us. They want a back up big and leave one open for for a mid season transfer.

Unreal to think of Illinois 4 years ago versus now.  Illinois winning recruting battles against UNC and Duke feasting off our leftovers.  Nothing but Respect for Grandison.  But my oh my have the Illini made strides.

All 5 players will probably be in the NBA next year. Filipowski and Lively are both centers but I think Duke will make it work. Grandison can compete with Jaden Schutt on who comes off the bench at the wing position.

As I said, Grandison is a far better player than Mayer.  Illinois did not upgrade there
