When we played Purdue, Painter could draw something up to get a quick, easy bucket.  It sure would be nice to have that when we're struggling to score.  Instead, we get more of the same. 

Anyway, nice win.  Needed it.

Goode reminds me a lot of Jon Ekey.  Both similar size, thick big body 2s/3s with similar ball skills. 

But Goode is already as good as Ekey so I feel like that is his absolute floor. And who knows how good he could end up being.

It was ugly but we got the job done.
Good group effort.

MSU has major ball handling fundamentals issues.

Only complete teams in Big are Purdue and Illini.

Watched it in the basement of the throughly disappointing Moon River Brewing Company in Savannah with multiple MSU fans and Illini fans. One of the Illini fans said “He’s gonna try and miss the free throw and accidentally make it” a split second before it actually happened. Not quite ready to quit drinking.

Watched the last 4 minutes at the bowling alley tonight. Glad to see we won without our best squad.  Last minute was some pretty shit basketball but whatever we shall forget about this win soon

Where are you seeing Covid ?  All I've seen is fever and/or flu, except for a Detroit Free Press story that said Covid.
