We didn't play well, but Michigan had something to do with that. They grabbed way too many offensive rebounds and mucked up the passing lanes.
We need to get Hawkins untracked and Grandison needs to get his shot back. Frazier, Kofi and Plummer are getting the job done.

Yeah Hawkins seems really immature and needs to get his head on straight. He’s more worried about talking shit than getting his head together. He can dominate lower competition like we saw early in the season, but against stiffer competition he disappears. Usually when you have equal talent, the mind is the biggest obstacle to overcome and usually makes the difference. Hope he gets it together.

I hope Belo comes back sooner rather than later.  It's painful to watch DW try to run the point when Trent sits.  On the plus side, he actually made a layup last night.  We're better when he has less on the plate.

I mean, I realize it’s a delicate issue, but this is getting ridiculous. Not sure I’ve ever seen someone out for this long that didn’t then retire after a series of concussions.

Maybe Jordan Reed, and he eventually retired. I do believe he missed extended time, but that was after a series of concussions.

Illinois fans have been screwed over so many times, some of them have acquired chips on their shoulders. There were the excess penaltives for relatively minor violations. The calls that were so blatantly bad there were apologies. The policy and rules changes due to Illinois getting hosed.

If we played reach and grab defense like Michigan did last night; half the team would foul out.
