Roe v. Wade. 50 years old almost. Had a good run despite being a Swiss cheese opinion with holes galore
Co-morbidities led to an early demise.
Every day is a cognitive test.
My background: 🇺🇸
"Yes, but doesn't it ring true?"

Obligatory: Elections have consequences.

I wonder if Phil Donahue, Susan Sarandon and the Bernie Bros are happy?  After all they said there was no difference between Gore and George W. and HRC and Trump.  Ginsburg’s hubris is part of this too. The Dems are simply not strategic.

What's next, birth control, inter-racial marriage and gay marriage?  It's all on the table.  See Thomas’s concurring opinion.

Rights to privacy, to vote, to an education, to unrestricted  interstate travel. All that should go back to the states or to the people's representatives to be voted on.         /s sort of

I suspect Thomas will go after birth control and gay marriage but find all sorts of reason that inter-racial marriage is A-OK

1. Yes. They double down and think if the Dems followed their lead, none of the rest would have ever happened.

2. Everything is on the table as they will overextend themselves yet again.

He may re-think that after the January 6 Committee, maybe even the DOJ, gets through with her.

I’d be shocked if anyone is punished for anything. Shocked.

If they are going back to more of a strict constructionist approach; then the ACA could back on the table.

I saw some right wing lawyer wringing his hands and lamenting how liberals had politicized SCOTUS.

Since precedents are being overturned, they need to overturn the Slaughterhouse Cases.
