This has been explained previously. Syracuse switched philosophies and he was out. They went to a more run oriented attack. See the opposite of what Illinois did with Isaiah Williams to stick with Peters.

What you fail to understand is that JizzJerkoff is telling you that when a kid like the Syracuse kid is a stud, you actually DON'T tailor your offense around him.  You completely redo your offense and then bench him. So Illinois fans should be really excited that he is here instead of, say, Bo Nix.

I'm just hopeful the guy can roll out without fumbling and hit the tight end on the run on the crossing pattern.
