"Asked by Illini Inquirer for clarification on what “head trauma” meant, Underwood gave few details on the player's medical condition but said Curbelo does not have a concussion. Many who suffer concussions can experience neck pain days and weeks after the injury.

“It’s not [a concussion]. It’s not that,” he said. “We’ve ruled that out. I’m not going to get into anybody’s medical stuff, but we did rule that piece out. It’s something he’s frustrated with and we’ll just keep monitoring it and see how it keeps moving from here. "

I know if there’s one guy I trust to have better info than those inside the program it’s the guy universally maligned by all Illini sources, who spends his entire life bitter for being kicked out for stalking.  His track record is sterling, no question.

No vague claims necessary, he’s been out for weeks.  Obviously whatever’s going on with him isn’t good.  That he’s 90% into the transfer portal is just Truth wet dream though.  I find it incredible that multiple people here seemed to give this credence.
