I think Indy at +900 and SF at +1300 are intriguing odds to win their conferences.

Another extra spicy NFL take. WFT wins the NFC East after starting 1-6.

This one not looking so good.

I don’t think I’ve ever been as disinterested in the NFL as I have been this year. Bad play, lopsided games, no real special teams. If you’re not a gambler or a big fantasy football fan there just doesn’t seem to be much reason to watch these games.

Neither is his Bills take

Assuming you are a Bears fan, I get that the NFL is uninteresting when your team sucks.  Early in the season, the highlighted games were great.  It has definitely trailed off lately, though.

Injuries, Covid, and erratic quarterbacking have caught up with them. They definitely can’t handle Dallas, that’s for sure.

This year more than ever confirms the NFL is a week to week league. You can point to about every team in the top half of the league and say they looked a strong contender at some point, and a pretender at another.

Covid definitely playing a role in that, and some teams have been ravaged with injuries. Impressive Tennessee has been able to keep the wheels on despite getting wrecked with injuries.

I hope Baltimore gets in the playoffs, and Lamar returns.  Fun to watch.

I like them, but I’m hoping Cleveland gets in. They’re a dangerous team if healthy.

And while I love Lamar, Kyler, I’m becoming more and more convinced you have to pass from the pocket to win a SB. They are good passers, but I’m not sure they have the consistency from the pocket to win a SB with a less than overwhelming supporting cast.

He posted, somewhere, that the Bills were not going to make the playdowns.

Ooh, yeah.  That take took a hit yesterday.

NFC playoff picture looks fairly predictable.  AFC is a mess.

They were for sure headed in the wrong direction. A 9-6 loss to Jacksonville is inexcusable. They’ve rebounded nicely, and in a way I wasn’t sure they were capable of. Again, more than ever, it’s a week to week league.

Probably my last spicy take before the playoffs. I like SF and Indy to make some noise going forward. NE perhaps peaked too early, and not sure Mac Jones is ready to be more than a caretaker. If they get behind, they are in trouble.
