Who cares? Opponents are Jackson State and Longwood. No one is watching these games other than parents and diehards.

I had the first half of the game on in the background :)

I absolutely concur...for as athletic as he seems to be, he also seems to not be able to play within the flow of an offense. He seems almost disinterested or as you say lost out there...

Was expecting this freak of an athlete honestly up and down at the rim all the time, doesn't seem that is what we will get....by next year I hope that changes.

Not sure why anyone would've expected that.  He played sparingly for a worse team than ours last year.

The same reason has to why NBA drafts people and the NCAA recruits people....potential. This kid was ranked a spot ahead of Kofi in HS, and shows flashes...just not a player that panned out like his potential suggested that he would coming from HS. Kofi has gotten ALOT better and Payne played sparingly for a team that is now in Top 25 and transferred to us.

Either way I am glad Kofi is back, but I am not sure in light of recent games if we couldn't have went without Kofi (if he hadn't returned) and played this year with a stretch 5 in Hawkins. Coleman is blowing up for us...

Coleman took a step up from last year and that's very encouraging.  The kid seems to have good court awareness and multiple tools.  Can't remember us having a big like this before and don't give me Georgi.

Only former player comp I have is Brian Cook. Coleman is more athletic but not as skilled at this stage. 6’11” dudes that can hit threes can play a long time in the league.
