I’ve been an Aaron Rodgers apologist for a long time. A “fan” even, even though I root for the Bears (sort of). But this Covid thing has revealed his true character, it’s ugly. Still a great QB, though. But what an assbag.

Once again, the best policy would have been to get out ahead of this, show some humility, and apologize. Instead, he triples down and looks like a fool, a jerk, and a bad teammate. I’d be pretty surprised if State Farm doesn’t pull the plug on Rodgers. I’d have to think the perception of trust and reliability are of utmost importance to an insurance company, and Rodgers clearly does not embody those traits.
