We’ll agree to disagree. The gay jokes/references were in bad taste, but that doesn’t mean his sports opinions are shit. Like all of us, he’s not perfect, but his sports opinions are never meatheaded.

I was never a fan in the B and B days either.

Agree on your second point.  As I said, I think his opinions are based on calculated opportunism. Even his contrarianism,.anti-meatball making fun of the "uh, let's trade Fields for Brady" callers, if you will.

I'm not the one now claiming to be something else like he is.

I think his views are purely calculated. I get it. He's been on the air for a long time. He's gone from making fun of stupid callers proposing ridiculous trades, etc. to being Advanced Stats, Tony LaRussa can't identify with younger players because he is a drunk who doesn't like sideline protests but he won't say shit about the Ricketts family's racist (or whatever)  emails, Social Justice Guy. Works for him.  And you apparently.
