And, nobody actually said winning awards meant anything.  Mn just pointed out that he won an award.  So, you're arguing with yourself.

This.
Because FOX News told me so…

This response is ironic.

Never wrestle with a pig. You both get muddy, and the pig likes it.

You were the biggest Texas fan on earth in that thread.  It was a fucking joke.

TexasHQ

I looked about 10 pages in and saw nothing after that first post. Feel free to pull up some quotes.

I really don't want to revisit that whole thing because it was a disaster.  You didn't start the thread to praise Underwood.  It was a Tempo thread.  And the fact that it went 47 pages made it a complete disaster.

Here’s a quote from me I found interesting.

’m not looking to throw Underwood under the bus, or to replace him or anything like that. He’s far exceeded what I thought he’d do in year 4 even if going from my thoughts of two years ago. I will say that this loss is probably the toughest tourney loss we’ve had in nearly 40 years, with the only possible exception the ‘01 loss. But at least then we lost to a team many thought was at least as good, or perhaps better than us. Unlikely, but if Ayo and Kofi or even one of them were to return it would lessen the sting a good bit.

Overall, the program is clearly moving in the right direction; but this was a really strong opportunity to reach the championship game. Really only perhaps the 3rd time we could call ourselves a favorite to do so in my not so young anymore lifetime. I’m excited about the future, but this was a missed opportunity; and our history suggests we only get this close maybe every 15 years or so.

Wait. Are you the pig in this instance? Or is Jobu supposed to be the pig?

You can decide.

Here’s another interesting quote from me in that thread: man, I’m really tonguing Shaka’s ass hard here!

Actually, I’m really unaware of what I’ve said that’s so objectionable outside of I’d rather have Shaka. I have nothing but praise for Underwood based one the last couple of years; today’s manhandling notwithstanding. I think achieving a 1 seed in 4 years is pretty remarkable.

Good lord Tempo (Wayne) stop tonguing Shaka’s ass!

[I agree with virtually everything you’ve said, with one exception. I don’t think we’re a bubble team next year even if Kofi leaves. We should still be a 5-7 seed. But we’d have a Final Four contender again if he stays. Our backcourt will have more experience and be among the best in the country. Giorgi is a capable big man if Kofi leaves. We could be sort of a poor man’s version of 2005.]

I'm just gonna stop now.

Somehow, you don’t come across as very believable here.

After going through almost 20 pages of that thread I’ve found very little about Shaka, and quite a bit about me (mostly) praising Underwood about what he’d accomplished and the direction of the program, which I found positive.

This despite being after the Loyola loss. Which ThePAMan has had plenty to say about.

If it makes you happy, I’ll rescind the “he’s trash” comment. I’ll replace it with “I think what he said is trash.”

Do whatever you want.

Ok, I think what Bielema said was trash.

Man, after reviewing that thread, it was pure gold: I’ve gotten to page 23 or so where Jobu called me sexist because I spelled Leila Rahimi’s name wrong. Good stuff!

ThePAMan with some harsh things to say about “Underachiever.” At least he didn’t mention Shaka, though.
