Most sites indicate "he will retain a single year of eligibility."

"...has one year of eligibility remaining"

247 says "The rising fifth-year player could have two years of eligibility remaining as he redshirted 2021 and then played just four games in 2022 due to a season-ending injury, which could qualify him for a medical redshirt."

Northernstarinfo.com is the 3rd site of the 3 that says Hampton has 2 years.
