You seriously compare an underclassmen (freshman laden) team to a team a year older and with Brian Cook added in? You’re a basketball moron. You’ve been around the program long enough to understand how this works.

So you think everyone was just as good in the beginning of their careers as they were in the middle of them? That’s clearly not the case with Deron, Roger, Luther, or James. Dee was probably the same player freshman/sophomore year. Only an idiot thinks just because the name is the same a sophomore or junior isn’t usually better than a freshman/sophomore.

And we’re talking like there’s some major uptick in 2004. The 2003 team was pretty good, too. One loss to a hot shooting team in the tourney doesn’t change that. ‘04 went one game further, not three.

Both teams were 4 seeds IIRC
