I wonder how many “best QB prospect since Elway”s there have been since Elway.

I'm a huge John Elway fan and always have to laugh when I hear that comparison

the only guy to live up to it has been Payton Manning

but I'd say at least a baker's dozen

and in all honesty I think Burrow will be a stud if he ever gets away from that train wreck of a franchise

Off the top of my head: Manning, Stafford, Luck, Cam, Winston, Goff were all guys who were talked about like generational prospects coming out of college.  It seems like there's one every other year or so.

Yep. I think a lot of that is hype, possibly coming from people wanting to see how much teams will throw in trade for the no. 1 pick. I don't know why anyone falls for it anymore.

Great Sunday night game.  Also, Cowboys/Chargers was pretty friggin' good.

Minus the Bears, the prime time games have been great so far lol

You need to ask Tempo.  He's the curator here.

Tempo, what do you think? Or better question, what do you know?

ARE!!!

I guess the truce is over.

Couldn’t say, but I can’t remember any other than Lawrence.

I take that back. Andrew Luck. Other than that, don’t remember a lot of Elway comparisons.

Guess he’s never heard of Henry Ruggs…

Any Raider dumb enough to get a DUI in the same season 2.5 months removed from Henry Ruggs’ should be cut.

Don’t get me wrong, getting a DUI is always bad and stupid; but getting one on the Raiders shortly after the Henry Ruggs tragedy is off the charts stupid.
