I don’t know that I’d be a good GM, but I’d love to be in the room!

No way in hell I want Ryan Pace picking our next QB or coach. He can be a defensive scout, though.

Figured I’d throw you a bone  :D

I’m really getting tired of supporting such a poorly run franchise. 35 years and counting since a title. Rare glimpses of decent play. Regardless of head coach the offense pretty much always sucks. I know it’s hard to win consistently in the NFL and lots of teams are perennially bad to mediocre but it sure would be nice to have a great run once in a while.

And I appreciated that!
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

The Bears not winning a title in 35 years isn’t that unique. I think whats truly incredible is how inept they have been on offense during this time. I mean, almost impossible to consistently be this bad and have the same issues year after year after year.

That’s basically exactly what I was saying

Problem is it is that horrible gray time of year when the days are like 9 hours long and it’s damp and windy af (and there’s nothing to do outside anyways in Illinois) and we can’t hang out with our friends and family. Most tv is a joke. Been doing a lot of reading. After the first of the year moving to a state that has a climate and topography that is more conducive to year round outdoor activities and isn’t hopelessly broke. May reevaluate my professional sports allegiances.

Defense and run da ball!

Those all sound like wise decisions :)

I predict Pace gets fired and Nagy will stay another year. Lots of jobs will be open (with better QBs in the stable)  this year so I don’t think the Bears job would be very attractive to the better candidates regardless. Theo Epstein anyone?

Bears should lose as many games as they can to position themselves better in the draft. This team has absolutely no chance of getting through a playoff and for all intensive purposes pretending otherwise does more harm.

There are 4 1st round grade QBS, arguably a fifth. I have seen projections that it is possible 4 QBs go in the top 10-12. You can’t start a season with Foles as your starter...you just can’t

Does it really matter who the QB is with this O Line and no Cohen?

On another note, the NFL penalized the Broncos by making them play sans qb Sunday.  Doesn't matter that much to them because they're not going anywhere this year.  I expect they'll also be fined and docked a draft choice which matters more.  However, it was Seattle and the Pack (har!) who were more adversely impacted now that they trail the Saints by a game to secure the single bye and home field advantage for the playoffs.  If the league had pushed the game to today, all 3 Denver qbs would have been able to play.  With Hill at qb, Saints at Denver was kind of a tossup.

We still would have lost.  I don't know if it was so much a penalty other than the quarterbacks on my team are dumb as fuck. You guys want Lock (Jake Cutler 2.0) you can have him.  ;D
