One good thing to note: it appears the Bears were unwilling to give up the 20th pick to acquire Wentz. Happy to see that.

Y’all better be ready for my COMEBACK!!! Ya heard it here first!!!
I ain't gotta dawg in this fight, but I'll watch.

Carson Wentz traded to the Colts for a 2021 3rd rounder and a 2022 conditional 2nd rounder.

The Bears never made an offer apparently.

I didn’t see how it made any sense for the Bears when he hasn’t been very productive and the O line still blows

The O-Line was improving toward the end of the year, especially on run blocking. Still not good enough though.  Just like last year, nothing they do will make a difference if they can’t put together a good line.

Foles behind a good line would be better than Wentz behind a bad one. Or really, better than most QBs in the league behind a bad line.

Agree. You can win in the NFL with a really good defense and a well-protected mediocre QB. If your O line sucks it doesn’t really matter who you throw back there.

Everyone says Ryan Pace’s legacy is going to be tied to Mitch Trubisky, and to a certain extent, that’s true. But I think Pace’s biggest fault as a GM (and the one that is going to get him fired) is that he doesn’t seem to place any value on the OL.

Andy Fuckin Dalton?

Well, he certainly has experience playing behind a shit line. None of it very good though.

Dalton and Foles? I’d rather bring back Mitch if it’s down those two.

Rooting for this franchise is a sad life.

I really have no idea how anybody could think this is good. I mean did Nagy and Pace think they got a good QB with this deal?

They were creaming themselves trying to get Russell Wilson, which anyone with a lick of common sense knew that was never going to happen.
