Coins are for entry into the coin game rooms. As of right now, they aren’t much use to you unless you are in a club and are heavy into turf wars. That’s not where you are right now. Continue to build up coins, but worry more about credits.

I was going to give you something much nicer, but you weren’t eligible yet. Need to level up about 4 more levels.

Work on punch shots inside 40-50 yards. Next time you play, set that club to “punch” and let me know what the yardage is.

Anyway, if it’s 50 yards for example, use it like this: 35 yard shot (70% of course), but add 10% to 80%. I usually add full backspin as well. Deadly accurate from 50 yards and in. Will save you a lot of strokes.

I would also tinker with the flop shot 30 yards and in.

10 credits gets you into the showdown. Please enter! Usually +2 or so (for 9 holes) makes the first cut.

Actually, coins can be used to upgrade apparel (when a certain level for that apparel is reached).

For now; pick apparel that gives you upgrades in performance more than what look you like. At least that’s what I recommend. The “common” topgolf shirt will give you extra iron distance for example. I think you’re already using that one.

Every 5.5 hours you get on half hour of free “sponsorship.” Or I do anyway; it might be because I am a premier member. Anyway, check the green link next time you go into a coin room. Make sure you are “boxing” when you can. You get free apparel upgrades during that half hour. More if you win, less if you lose; but you will get it for every match. Make sure to choose the sponsor that makes sense (the apparel you are looking to upgrade). If most of your apparel is Swing Edge, choose Swing Edge for example.
